Re-engineered a legacy multi-tenant transaction engine into an ultra-fast Next.js platform with edge reconciliation and sub-100ms response times.
The Challenge
Institutional investors were experiencing 3–5 second latency spikes during market close reconciliations. The previous monolithic portal suffered from cascading timeout errors, cryptic failure modals, and zero real-time trade verification, leading to high drop-off rates on high-value asset transfers.
Strong Underneath
We tore down the legacy client polling layer and designed an event-driven edge gateway. 'Strong underneath': We modeled a strict PostgreSQL ledger with optimistic balance concurrency locks and WebSocket real-time trade broadcasting. 'Friendly on top': We redesigned the transaction interface with large, reassuring tactile buttons, live pill-status trackers, and inline instant error resolution.

A modular Next.js 15 App Router web application backed by Supabase Edge Functions. Institutional traders now receive sub-100ms trade verifications, tactile tactile confirmation feedback, and automated PDF settlement receipts with one-click sharing.
